One of the things I loved about our house in Oakley was the community pool. It's true - it's small but we spent every day at the pool during the summer. It was part of California living for us and we loved it.
I still miss my house and the pool and all the beautiful and precious memories that were created there.
I have a cute picture of my sister Amber with Eva and a picture of the children at the pool. It is one of the last pictures we have taken of our five-year era in Oakley - Amber would say I am being dramatic now!
The pictures aren't the greatest but they are all we have got of the pool!
The pool picture is great. You are missed. I hope you are getting settled in and enjoying summer with your families.
